On Monday January 27th, as a team we went to Western University and King’s College to set up a BfC table, pass out flyers for the Bible seminar on Friday, and preach the gospel on campus. The students were very receptive to the tables with many receiving a Bible, and a number of them praying with us to receive the Lord. Unfortunately, however, we will be unable to table the rest of the week at King’s College.

Today the team split into two separate teams. One team went to a town called Aylmer for a Bible distribution, and the other team went to a town called Thamesville to host a BfC (Bibles for Canada) seminar. In total there were 33 adults, 3 of which we had never met before and a number of saints of the Mennonite background who within the last year came into the Lord’s recovery. Although it was not a big number, all who attended felt it was a very sweet and uplifting time of blending for all the saints in the area. There are many saints scattered throughout southwest Ontario and times of blending such as these are really treasured. A word was spoken on the blessings to the church in Ephesians 1: the Father’s choosing, the Son’s redeeming, and the Spirit’s sealing and pledging. Afterward the saints got together in small groups to read and enjoy the footnotes and cross references of these marvelous blessings. Some of the full-timers and FTTA trainees will stay around Dresden for the night and have breakfast with the saints in the morning. Praise the Lord for blending the saints together in this part of the province!

Prayer Burdens:

  • That the Lord would bind the enemy and continue to go on in an unhindered way the rest of this gospel trip
  • For the Bible seminar at King’s college this Friday - that the Lord would bless each invitation and stir up so many students from both campuses
  • For all of the families that came to the seminar at Thamesville and Aylmer - that the Lord would guard the good deposit and continue His growth in them
