In Fresno City College, the team had contacted a student who wanted a Bible study. He sent a message that day that he was feeling under the weather, but the team still made it there to meet another student. As the team waited, they went to the cafeteria and saw a student watching videos on his phone. They sat down and started to begin to have a conversation with him. At the beginning asking him questions was a bit difficult, but the team hoped that they were able to see his need. First, his major was the same as one of the trainees. Then, there began a connection from where his parents are from to that same trainee’s sending locality. Eventually, he mentioned a few things about his growing up in Catholic school and it opened up a way for the team to start to talk about his reading of the word. He was asked his favorite story and He opened up about Abraham offering his son. He mentioned he couldn’t understand, but the team shared with him how that story connects to Jesus being offered to God for us. He was then asked if he had ever received the Lord, which he replied that he honestly wouldn’t know. That opened another way to share with him that he had a spirit. That man was created in the same image as God, that He is Spirit and He went through an entire process to become the Life-giving Spirit and that now he can enter into his being. The team leads this one to pray and receive the Lord and shared that he can contact the Lord whenever and wherever he is. The Lord is faithful to appear.

During door-knocking, the last house was a former Presbyterian who got saved eight years ago and was solid in the truth, with the same beliefs that we have, and was open to fellowship with Christians. His understanding with the Triune God was pretty impressive and he was like an elder in his other church. He mentioned that he was wide open. He was a good one to fellowship with. He is not peculiar. He says that he doesn’t like to argue about the small things, so a brother inoculated Him. He prayed and received a Bible.

At Walmart, from the setting up, people were wanting to know what the saints had. There was a woman asked if she had ever read the word. She says that yes, but when she does read she falls asleep. The saints realized and shared that even in our living there is something to infuse. She was impressed that others read the word on the phone.
