Praise the Lord! Last night eight new students from SSU and SRJC attended the college meeting; two of them came for their second time. We continued our fellowship from last Friday about pray-reading verses as our eating, drinking, and breathing the Spirit and the life in the Word of God. The students started functioning in the meeting, and one sister shared her experience about feeding on the word in morning revival time. One new student asked about the word “tabernacle” in John 1:14, and she was touched by its meaning of Christ making His dwelling place among men. The meeting was finished by singing and blending, and the students were so thankful to be here.

We are also encouraged that even toward the end of the two-week gospel trip, there are still many students hungry for the Word while we were passing out Bibles. One student got the Recovery Version and had a Bible study with us immediately. She was very open and appreciated the footnotes in the Bible. May the Lord keep drawing her to come meeting next week.

Today three new students joined our outing, got to make good connections with each other, and they were very happy to be with us. We continued our time with the new ones this evening with dinner and singing. Some students told us they enjoyed the time so much and wanted to keep meeting with us. One of them prayed and thanked the Lord for this open home and all the saints.

Prayer burdens:

  • Please pray that the Lord may keep growing in all the students, especially the new ones to make them solid gradually through proper shepherding.
  • Please pray for all the Bible studies, college meetings at SSU and SRJC so the students can be nourished and captured by the Word.
  • Please pray for the core students that nothing would hinder their growth in life to be functioning members to build up the Body of Christ.
