Hallelujah for the church in Everett! Our team safely arrived here this afternoon. We first met all together at a beautiful house that the saints rented out for us. A full-timer from Seattle is staying with us here also. Then we all packed up in the van and drove to the church house in Everett where all the saints meet. Tonight we gathered there for dinner and fellowship as 12 local saints, one full-timer from another city, and four trainees.

During our fellowship, the saints asked some of the trainees to share their experiences being in the full time training, with particular interest in their experiences on gospel preaching and shepherding in the different gospel teams. The saints expressed a deep burden to gain the younger generation in Everett. They also shared the challenges they face in gaining the young ones here due to their work schedules, age, and lack of young people all together. Tomorrow we plan to join the saints by going to the conference in Bellingham for messages on the “Vital Group.” Then tomorrow night we will meet with the younger aged brothers and sisters who live in or near Everett.

Prayer Burdens:

• The conference in Bellingham, that the Lord would speak a fresh word and that the saints in Everett would corporately see a vision of the Vital Group.
• The meeting tomorrow night with the young people (high school/college) around this city, that the Lord would speak to these young people through the trainees’ testimonies.
• More opportunities to fellowship with the saints in Everett and to enter into their burdens for increase.

Hallelujah for the Lord’s move in Redding! This weekend, our team started our gospel trip by staying with the saints in Redding, CA and participating in the gospel work here. There are only about a dozen saints here, most of whom are retired; but we were encouraged that several local saints came out to labor with us.

Today, we split into two teams composed of trainees and local saints: one team went door-knocking around the meeting hall and the other team went to have a Bibles for America table at a Trader Joe’s. We were encouraged that although many citizens in Redding are already Christian, there is a hunger for the ministry! Oftentimes, if we could get someone to read a couple footnotes with us, they were impressed by the Recovery Version and willing to take a free copy although they already owned many Bibles. Over two hours, we distributed 19 Recovery Version Bibles! Praise the Lord!

In the evening, we then joined the saints for a small group meeting and enjoyed dinner and sweet fellowship over chapter 10 in the book of Acts.

Prayer burdens:

• Pray for all the Bible recipients, as well as those who were only willing to take a Basic Elements of the Christian Life booklet. May the Lord operate in them through the Word and the interpreted Word.
• May the Lord continue to strengthen the saints in Redding and add young believers to His testimony here.

Our first morning in Laredo, TX was this Lord’s Day the 21st. We had a great time of blending with all the saints during our love feast. Also spent our first coordination time. We briefly visited our campus site, and afterwards had dinner with the saints.

Today was our first day on the Texas A&M International University campus. We plan to table there everyday for the next two weeks. We will pass out our Bible study invitation tracts that will be held on Wednesday and Thursday of this and next week. Also, to make a good connection with the students.

So far, the Lord did beyond what we could think, we were able to give out 1300 invitation tracts, 60 students signed up to come to our Bible study times, and two very promising students prayed to receive the Lord with us.

Prayer Burdens:

• Please pray that the Lord would continue to pour out His blessing on this campus. Continue to soften, open, and prepare the students’ hearts for the Bible study sessions.
• Please pray that these 60 students would come to our Bible study sessions, and be well connected with the local brother and sister students on campus.
• Please pray for the Lord to give us some promising students to connect to the local saints in Laredo, and be brought into the church life here.

These are the final stats for the 2017 GTCA Gospel Trips. A total of 18 cities in North America received gospel teams. During the course of these gospel trips, a number of neighboring cities were also visited with some gospel activity. Altogether 18,854 gospel tracts and 7,148 Bible/Rhema sets were distributed. 4,969 people received substantial contact. 175 people were led to receive the Lord and 12 people were baptized. A total of 229 people were visited in the way of follow-up appointments and visitations. Please continue to pray for these cities and the seeds that have been sown in them.

Praise the Lord for the Lord’s move in Morgan Hill and Gilroy. We truly tasted the normal church life, which is living, active, vibrant and vital. Their care and love for us really impressed us. It was so joyful and normal to see all the saints pouring out everything by shepherding, opening the homes, and preparing all the practical details for this gospel trip. We will truly miss the saints and continue to pray for them so that the Lord can do whatever and exactly He wants to do in Bay Area for His Body, Bride and Kingdom.

Enjoyment:
We were brought back again and again to this precious quote: “When a person is graced with being part of one of God’s special moves on this earth, it is the greatest blessing of his life. God’s move makes an impression that he will never forget, and it becomes an unending source of supply to him. Whoever can participate in such a flow is most blessed. I believe that whenever someone who was in such a flow thinks back on it, he will have fond memories of that time. It is a great blessing for a person to be able to participate in the flow of God’s work, the flow of revival, at least once in his lifetime.” We are so privileged to be part of the Lord’s move.

• Pray that the Lord will bless the follow up of the new contacts in Morgan Hill and Gilroy.
• Pray the Lord will put the new contacts in the hearts of the local saints.
• Pray for the going on of the saints to cooperate with the Lord for His move after the gospel trip.
• Pray that the Lord will use localities in the Bay Area for the building up of His Body, for the preparation of His Bride and the coming of His Kingdom.
