Menifee, CA—Gospel Trip, Day 10
Today we began the second week of our labor on MSJC campus. Three local saints and three brothers from Ontario participated in the distribution. Today we gave out 49 Bibles. We had one second appointment and one regular appointment. Now we are inviting the Bible recipients to a Thursday dinner. Please pray that the Lord would bring some to the dinner and will grant us more appointments this week.
In the evening, we had dinner with a family in Temecula and we had Bible study afterwards according to the church’s Bible reading schedule.
Prayer burdens:
- Please pray for the 2nd week of distribution on MSJC campus (Feb. 1st-4th), that the Lord would gain some solid, remaining contacts. Please also pray that the Lord would bring some to the Thursday dinner and grant us more appointments this week.
- Please pray for the community door-knocking on Saturday (Feb. 6th) and for the follow-up of the open contacts from the previous Saturday.
- Please pray for the local saints’ participation and the one accord.
Peoria, IL—Gospel Trip, Day 11
Today we were laboring on Bradley University campus, with one BfA table indoors and two BfA tables outdoors. Over 30 conversations, 48 Bibles, and other ministry books and tracts were passed out on the campus. One even prayed to receive the Lord! Here are two highlights on some we have met today:
Today, a male student approached our table, and he was very open, gladly taking a New Testament Recovery Version offer from us. We then asked him if he was willing to meet with some trainees for a Bible study or appointment. He responded by saying, “I have time right now!” We had an extra open chair at the BfA table, so we had him sit down with us and we had an appointment on the spot! One of the trainees had a wonderful conversation with him, and the trainee told the student a short testimony of how the trainee had come to know the Lord in a real way. After reading some verses in Romans 10, the trainee asked if the student wanted to pray to receive the Lord. The response was immediate and genuine, and the student followed the trainee to pray to receive the Lord. Praise the Lord for the transfer of this vessel from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of the Son of God’s love. Soon after, we found out that this student had met with the saints previously, but at the time, he was not very open to continue meeting with the saints. We are so thankful for the Lord’s grace and mercy, that the Lord continued to work in this one!
Another woman drove up to the intersection where our table was and opened her vehicle door since there was time to converse at the stoplight. She asked, “May I have a Bible?” and a trainee and local saint gave her a Bible and Basic Elements of the Christian Life booklet. The local saint noticed that there was still 30 seconds left at the stoplight and ran back to the door and got her contact information.
Prayer burdens:
- Pray for appointments being made with the contacts who received the Bible.
- Pray that those who did set up an appointment with us would make that time and that through this there would be a way for further shepherding with the local saints.

Missoula, MT/Cheney, WA—Gospel Trip, Days 9-10
We have finally arrived in Missoula! We got in late on Sunday night, but were overwhelmed to find out the saints here rented us a three-story vacation rental log cabin. It is absolutely beautiful and the views are incredible! What cherishing from the saints!
We spent most of the day at the University of Montana passing out Bibles for BfA and asking students to sign up for appointments on campus with the saints. The church’s official university club name is Reading Groups Student Association, and their message has been to provide spiritual nourishment to those seeking to know God in the Word. I was very impressed to hear that one brother had 17 one-on-one appointments per week last semester and is continuing in this manner! What a wonderful pattern to us! There were many open students who came up to the table wanting to know more about the Bible and have an appointment. We also walked around the campus to preach the gospel and meet new people. Lord, gain Your chosen ones at the University of Montana!
Prayer burdens:
- That the Word would run in a prevailing way on the campus, especially during our time here this week; that many new ones would be seeking and willing to sign up to read the Bible with the saints.
- That both the gospel team and the saints in Missoula would be mutually encouraged, strengthened, and refreshed in this week of blending.
Laval, QC—Gospel Trip, Day 9
Over the past two days, the team split up into two groups to visit saints in nearby cities. One group went to Ottawa to blend with the saints there and the other group went to Quebec City to visit a family there who was hungry for fellowship. Both groups had a sweet time enjoying the Lord with the other members of the Body.
After having the Lord’s table with the church in Ottawa, we enjoyed a love feast with the saints. A group of saints, young people, and trainees then had a time of blending as we skated on the Rideau Canal. The evening was spent in a couple’s home with many of the local saints for dinner and fellowship. Many shared their experiences in Ottawa and the burden for the college work there.
Meanwhile in Quebec City, a group of trainees, students, and serving ones went to visit a family that resides there. The meeting was one of mutual encouragement and fellowship as we shared what life is to each one of us in our experience. While sightseeing in the city, we enjoyed blending with one another and preached the gospel by handing out gospel tracts.
Prayer burdens:
- That the Lord would continue to bless the saints in Ottawa and Quebec City and that they would remain in fellowship with all the saints.
- That many more would be open to receive Bibles and tracts and many seeking ones would be released to come to this Saturday’s seminar.
- That the Lord would cover the team’s health and strengthen their whole tripartite being as we continue to pass out Bibles this week.

Salt Lake City, UT—Gospel Trip, Days 9-10
On Saturday, we spent time with the local saints and students, with a new contact we just met during the week, to visit the public library and the Capitol, followed by a love feast at night, where we touched the matter of shepherding according to God. Many enjoyed and appreciated that we not only shepherd the new and dormant ones, but each one also needed the shepherding. Hallelujah!
On Sunday, the Lord’s Table and prophesying meeting were wonderful, and some of the trainees shared their testimonies of attending FTTA to encourage the saints. In addition, some of the students came together for dinner with the team and overflowed our experiences of Christ, and this cherished one another. We prayed for these students, along with their burdens. Lord, bless these students for Your move in Salt Lake City!
Prayer burdens:
- A group of core students to be formed to take ownership of the Christians on Campus club at University of Utah
- All the saints in the church in Salt Lake City will be vitalized by being grouped into twos and threes
- Binding of the principalities in the air to release the new contacts to have second or regular appointments with us and our own students
