Kennesaw, GA/Huntsville, AL—Gospel Trip, Days 7-9
On Friday, the team went on a outing to blend with the saints in Huntsville. We went to visit the Huntsville’s Space Center. One of the new sisters from campus also came with us to blend with the local saints. She was very engaging with the team, local saints, and seemed to really enjoy the time.
On Saturday, we met up with the saints in the morning before leaving for Kennesaw. The saints gave us a list of prayer burdens for the saints in Huntsville, and we spent some time to pray together for the going on of the church in Huntsville. We landed in Kennesaw that evening. There was a campfire and dinner with the saints before going to our hospitality.
On Lord’s Day, we had an outing after the Lord’s table at Stone Mountain then went back to hospitality to rest for the upcoming week in Kennesaw.
Prayer burdens:
- The migration of families to Huntsville. There are a few families considering moving to the area. Pray that these families would have the life and peace to follow the Lord’s leading.
- The Lord would open up the right job positions for the saints in the area, and the best houses for the church life for the saints in the area.
- The upcoming week in Kennesaw, GA. The Lord’s blessing this week.

Abbotsford, BC—Gospel Trip, Days 7-8
January 30th, 2016
Today was our last day distributing at the Pacific Agricultural Show. There were over 60 Bibles handed out, with quite a number of ministry material to many open, warm, and grateful people.
There were over 40 saints from the surrounding churches that came to help door-knock in the surrounding neighborhoods. Among those who came were high school students to middle-aged saints, and such a time of blended coordination, prayer, and labor was truly an encouragement and strengthening to those who participated, despite the cold weather and rain.
January 31st, 2016
After the Lord’s table and prophesying meeting in the home of a family in Abbotsford, the saints, trainees, and full-timers had a quick lunch before heading to the Clearbrook Library to have our first two seminars for Bibles for Canada. Both sessions were attended by roughly 15 to 20 new ones each.
Many of those who attended the seminars expressed their appreciation of the spoken word. One of them was a young father who brought his three children to the session on The Mystery of Human Life. The father recently had a genuine turn to the Lord, and he and his 13-year-old son were very attentive during the message. The son of the young father was later led to pray with one of the saints, and the father was full of joy. The saints will be visiting his home this coming Tuesday night at 7pm.
Prayer burdens:
- That the positive contacts from these past few days would remain soft, open, and warm for further contact and follow-up.
- The visitation of this young father and his children at his home would be full and rich with the Lord’s presence. Also, that this visit on Tuesday would be the the first of many for long-term care and regular appointments.
- The strengthening of the local saints to be one with the Lord in going out to contact, follow-up, and care for these ones whom the Lord has brought into contact with us.
Fort Myers, FL/Valdosta, GA—Gospel Trip, Days 5-6
Greetings from the church in Fort Myers! On Thursday a Bible study was held on the FGCU campus. In total there were seven new ones, one of which was a campus administrator. She was open and positive to the saints, we pray that the Lord would use this opportunity to open the door for establishing a campus club. The other students had positive responses and shared actively during the bible study.
On Friday the local saints and the trainees had appointments with the contacts we met during the week. The students were eager to exchange contact information with the local saints to schedule further appointments.
Through further contact we were able to invite students to the young people and home meetings on Friday and Saturday. Praise the Lord, three students who were also at the the Bible study came! They really enjoyed meeting and making a joyful noise with the saints. Lord, continue to connect these ones with the saints!
The saints in Fort Myers and the students have been written on our hearts, now we have a specific ones to place in our prayers for Fort Myers. It was a joy to blended, built up, shepherded and co-labor with these precious ones. Seeing each one function in their measure has been a pattern for us. Lord, continue Your work in Fort Myers.
Prayer burdens:
- For the three new students to be brought into the church life.
- For more students to be connected to the saints.
- For a campus club to be established on FGCU.
- For the Lord to strengthen His testimony in Fort Myers by burdening some for Fort Myers.

Missoula, MT/Cheney, WA—Gospel Trip, Days 7-8
What a wonderful week it has been in Cheney, WA! Yesterday (Friday), we spent more time overflowing and enjoying the Word at the Bible study on campus and then we read the ministry material to prepare for the college meeting which was that night, so we did not go out door-knocking that day. But regardless, we were so encouraged by the number of warm, open people we met in just four days of being here. We met 23 solid contacts for the saints in Cheney to follow up with. Three of those contacts were ones who received the Lord with us at their doors. Praise the Lord for the preaching of the gospel by visitation!
Today (Saturday) was our day off. We visited some “sites” in Spokane for part of the afternoon and rested to recuperate from our week. However, we also got to have a very sweet time of blending with the saints in Pullman during the evening. They brought their students in the WSU club and we had over 50 people at the saints’ home. It was a great time of eating, singing, and overflowing our enjoyment of this week’s gospel trip or the students’ enjoyment so far in their semester/quarter.
Tomorrow we will leave for Missoula after the Lord’s table meeting. It is very sad to leave but also an encouragement to leave on such a high note. We have very much enjoyed our time here and hope to visit again!
Prayer burdens:
- That the 23 new contacts would be fed and could grow in the Lord to become precious materials for His building work.
- That the students here in Eastern Washington (EWU, WSU, etc.) would continue to pursue Christ and gain Christ in the Body, with the Body, and for the Body.
Santa Rosa, CA—Gospel Trip, Day 7
Thank you very much for all your prayers. Tonight we had eight new students come to our college meeting in the Sonoma house. During dinner time, one student who is originally from Iran prayed and received the Lord! She has been in the U.S. for more than two years and currently studies at SRJC and is very open to have more meetings and Bible studies with us. May the Lord richly supply this student to gain her as a remaining fruit.
In the meeting we shared about eating and drinking by reading and praying the word. One of the students from SSU who was in the Wednesday home meeting joined us again tonight, and we pray that the Lord will keep anointing him and go deeper in him as he begins to read and pray-read the word. Another student who received the RcV Bible last semester came tonight and would like to start coming every Friday night if she can.
During the day, we had follow-up with many of our contacts from this week and held a Bible study with some of the students from SSU. There is a student who came to our Bible study right after receiving a tract. She received a Bible and the invitation card last year and had been planning to have a Bible study with us but didn’t get a chance then. This time she spent almost one hour to study the Bible and then we had lunch together. We also had a student get into the book of Matthew and who was connected with the core students at SSU. Tomorrow there will be many saints coming from the Bay Area to Santa Rosa to go door knocking.
Prayer burdens:
- Please pray for all the new students to remain open to the truth and the saints, and that the seeds planted in them would grow unhindered.
- That the core students would be strengthened to be functioning members and get connected with the new students.
- For the Lord to continue His building work in all the local saints and trainees, and in all our laboring and coordination.
- For the community saints who are gathering tomorrow to go door knocking in Santa Rosa, specifically that they would be richly supplied, find the sons of peace, and have the way to establish further contact with ones who are seeking.
